EL PARASIO - MICROLOT

This beautiful coffee has notes of cooked apple, blackberry with toffee and syrupy sweetness.

This is the first time we have offered a Sidra variety. This Microlot from Ecuador is sourced from independent specialty-coffee farmers and represent the highest quality and the highest level of traceability available.

Aníbal López owns finca El Paraíso which is a 12 hectare farm in Loja, Ecuador. 4.5 hectares of this farm are planted with roughly 9000 trees. 

Loja is located in the South of Ecuador and borders Northern Peru. The Andean mountain range makes up 80% of the region which also is surrounded by the Zamora and Malacatos rivers, and is in between the Amazon basin Peruvian Sechura Desert. The geography is prime for specialty coffee production. Temperatures during the day are warm and temperate and during the night, cool air rolls in off the mountains creating an environment in which coffee thrives. Generational coffee producers live off their land and cultivate other agricultural products and livestock in this tropical forest. 

El Paraiso translates to Paradise, it really is a delicious microlot. It is a quality bean, processed via washing and is quite decadent. We have roasted if for Espresso, it can be enjoyed with or without milk. It is balanced and lovely drinking experience.
